A high-performance 24-way audio distribution amplifier that fits in a 1U rack, the RB-DA24MD. It features two inputs that can be blended and sent to all 24 outputs, or each input can be routed independently to 12 outputs. The inputs can be set up as mixed-mono, where inputs 1 and 2 are blended at a preset level and routed to all 24 outputs, or dual mono, where input 1 is routed to outputs 1–12 and input 2 to outputs 13–24. Three distinct output mix-level options are available when the device is set to mixed-mono operation. These modes allow the output to be adjusted by -6dB, -3dB, or 0dB by adjusting internal jumpers.

Electronically balanced D-type outputs and XLR inputs have the option to be wired unbalanced. To ensure that a short circuit on one doesn't influence the others, each output is independently buffered. Additionally, no output can be connected to phantom power circuits or POE (power over Ethernet) circuits without protection. The pre-set potentiometers for inputs 1 and 2 of the RB-DA24MD can be accessed through the rear panel to provide master gain settings. Gain adjustments between -15dB and +15dB are possible with these settings, which helps normalize sounds from consumer to professional and vice versa. The unit's power is shown by an LED power indicator on the front panel. A 125Hz 6dB per octave roll-off filter is activated by a push switch on the rear panel.
