An eight-way digital video distribution amplifier with outstanding performance and dependability, the RB-VHDA8 reclocks and distributes an SD (standard definition) or HD (high definition) SDI source to eight outputs. The device offers 100/350 meters (HD/SD) of coax cable with automatic input recognition, re-clocking, and cable equalization. The device supports the whole gamut of 3G, SD, and HD standards, enabling the distribution of PAL and NTSC signals up to 1080p 60Hz. Greater dependability is achieved by offering separately driven outputs with individual buffering for each output. The device contains a 12V DC input in addition to an AC power input, making it suitable for usage, for instance, in outside broadcast vehicles.
Both power inputs can be used to give a dual redundant power supply; whichever voltage is higher will be used.
