AES-3id digital audio is distributed using the RB-DDA6A3 digital distribution amplifier, which re-normalizes to conventional digital audio levels while repeating the audio data and the input's status information. Six BNC AES-3id audio outputs are connected to a single BNC AES-3id audio input. Uses include sending audio from a Blu-Ray player to recorders or using a master clock's output to feed several studios. It is capable of accepting input bit rates of 16, 20, and 24 bits as well as sample rates between 30 and 100 kHz.
