With two separate low-noise microphone pre-amplifiers, the RB-MA2G can drive lengthy lines from microphones to mixing equipment or convert microphone level signals to line level. It also has front panel level controls and metering. The rear panel houses all of the connectors. The microphone input is electronically balanced and of the XLR-3 type. Potentiometers with preset recessed positions allow for individual adjustment of the input gains. A 12-segment LED meter indicates the audio level for each channel, and two front panel potentiometers allow for level adjustments within ±12dB. It is possible to feed both balanced and unbalanced equipment with the electronically balanced XLR-3 line output by grounding the non-phase signal. There are separate switches for each channel that regulate a high pass filter (which rolls out low frequencies at 125 Hz) and supply phantom power (+48 V) to the attached microphone. The power supply connection is shown via an LED power indicator on the front panel.
