A dependable, high-performing digital video distribution amplifier with twin inputs and eight outputs, the RB-VHDA2x4 can reclock and distribute up to two 3G, HD (high definition), or SD (standard definition) SDI sources. The RB-VHDA2x4 functions as two separate video distribution amplifiers by default, routing input 1 to outputs 1-4 and input 2 to outputs 5-8. If preferred, either input can also be routed to every output, which can be done by using the integrated webserver or the input select switch on the front panel. The unit's status is also provided by the web server. The device offers 100/350 meters (HD/SD) of coax cable with automatic input recognition, re-clocking, and cable equalization. The device supports the whole gamut of 3G, SD, and HD standards, enabling the distribution of PAL and NTSC signals up to 1080p 60HzGreater dependability is achieved by offering separately driven outputs with individual buffering for each output. The device contains a 12V DC input in addition to an AC power input, making it suitable for usage, for instance, in outside broadcast vehicles. A dual redundant power supply can be created by using both power inputs; the higher voltage will be utilized.
