The DPA 6060-OC-U-X03 comes in different color variants: 6060-OC-U-B03 - Black, 6060-OC-U-F03 - Beige, 6060-OC-U-C03 - Brown and 6060-OC-U-W03 - White. It is a professionally designed subminiature, moisture-resistant lavalier microphone that is createed for use along with wireless systems for performance, broadcast, and theatrical applications. It comes with a tiny, 3mm electret-condenser capsule capable of delivering a clear, crisp, and intelligible speech, and also being easy to hide in clothing or costumes at the same time, which makes it as the mic well suited to the demands of theater, professional presentations, and live stage work as well as film, TV, and video productions.

The 6060 shrinks DPA's CORE technology down to a 60% smaller size that still capable to deliver an extended dynamic range and extremely low self noise for having an outstanding sound quality. An included capsule protection grid is designed to protect the mic element and also supply it a subtle 4 dB soft boost between 8 to 20 kHz, which to light enhance the signal presence ensuring the clarity. The cap is possible to be removed for cleaning and attaches to the mic along with a firm click that can be felt and heard.

With an SPL rating of 134 dB, the microphone is more than capable of handling most standard speakers, vocalists, and presenters. The 6060 CORE is powered by 5 to 10V plug-in power from a wireless transmitter and features a modular design using a Microdot output connector.
