The black d:screet Core 4071 Film Microphone Kit (KIT-4071-OC-FMK) is professionally designed including a Core 4071 omnidirectional lavalier microphone hardwired to a MicroDot connector, a 10-pack of microphone tape, a fur windscreen, 10-pieces of microphone tape to attach to a concealer (sold separately), a miniature mesh windscreen, and a sturdy travel case. This kit is possible to be used for capturing the audio for film or TV productions where the microphone needs to be invisible, as well as any scenario that is requiring only a small, moisture-resistant microphones.

The Core 4071 miniature microphone amplifier is capable of delivering both an increase in dynamic range and a reduction in THD (total harmonic distortion) over the 4071 Legacy model. The 4071 microphone comes equipped along with a built-in low-cut filter at 100 Hz designed for having reduced low-frequency resonances and rumbling. Its high-frequency or presence boost is tailored for speech intelligibility. An audio adapter (not supplied) is required.
