The FP 14000, LAB GRUPPEN's flagship model in the FP+ Series, continues the legacy of delivering tight and transparent sound, impressing FOH engineers and sound rental companies worldwide. This amplifier excels in handling extreme low-frequency loads by boosting effective power output. Upgrades to the Regulated Switch Mode Power Supply (R.SMPS) ensure sustained high power during prolonged bursts of low-frequency content while stabilizing rail voltages despite fluctuations in external mains voltage. The high-current (83 A peak) output stage, based on LAB GRUPPEN’s patented Class TD topology, combines the efficiency of Class D with the sonic purity of Class B designs. The FP 14000's circuit layout maximizes the interaction between R.SMPS and Class TD, resulting in unprecedented power density. To manage heat during intense demands, the FP 14000 relies on the Intercooler, featuring thousands of copper fins to facilitate rapid heat dissipation from the heatsink's surface. Additionally, all output devices are positioned for uniform cooling. This design ensures consistent performance without compromising sonic quality, maintaining LAB GRUPPEN’s hallmark "all the power, all the time."

For versatile applications, the FP 14000 offers adjustable input gain and LAB GRUPPEN’s exclusive Voltage Peak Limiter (VPL), enabling optimization for various loads, from massive subwoofers to HF compression drivers. Comprehensive warning and protection features safeguard output circuits and connected loads, prolonging the amplifier's lifespan and reducing service interruptions. The FP 14000 actively monitors operating conditions, engaging protective measures only at critical thresholds. It provides clear indications of faults, improper usage, or extreme ambient temperatures. When a fault is detected, normal operation resumes once measurements return to nominal levels. Standard with the FP 14000, the NomadLink network interface, when used with DeviceControl software, allows extensive monitoring of amplifier status and enables remote control functions like power on/off, channel mute, and channel solo. NomadLink integrates with third-party control platforms and requires the separate NLB 60E NomadLink Bridge & Network Controller.
