Lectrosonics DM1612F | DIGITAL MATRIX, 16 IN, 12 OUT, FAN

The Lectrosonics DM1612f is a powerful DSP-based digital audio processing, mixing, and routing system designed for professional sound reinforcement and conferencing applications. It is well suited for boardrooms, courtrooms, houses of worship, distance learning facilities, hotels, and other installations requiring multiple microphones and loudspeakers. At its core, the DM1612f features 16 microphone/line-level inputs and 12 outputs, supported by a fully digital crosspoint matrix. This flexible architecture allows any input to be routed to any individual output or to multiple outputs simultaneously, making it easy to configure complex audio distribution systems. After analog-to-digital conversion, each input signal is processed through a comprehensive DSP signal chain that includes multiple filters, Automatic Digital Feedback Elimination (ADFE), compression, and digital delay. Crosspoint gain can be adjusted from -69 to +20 dB in precise 1 dB increments, providing detailed control over signal levels and routing. Each of the 12 outputs includes its own digital delay, multiple DSP filters, and compressor/limiter processing, allowing the system to optimize individual output feeds for different rooms, loudspeaker zones, or conferencing requirements.

Features

  • 16 mic/line inputs, 12 line outputs
    (4 outputs are mic/line switchable)
  • 16 x 12 digital matrix mixing; gain is adjustable from
    -69 to +20 dB
  • Proportional gain auto mixing algorithm with AutoSkew™
    – US Patent 5,414,776 and 5,402,500
  • Auto mixing operates at the output of the matrix – each input channel can participate differently in each output mix
  • Each output has its own NOM mixing bus
  • 6 filter stages plus compressor, ADFE and delay on each input
  • 9 filter stages plus compressor, limiter and delay on each output
  • 128 macros available for storing up to 64 commands per macro
  • USB and RS-232 interfaces for setup and control
  • Digital I/O ports for “daisy chaining” and to connect other LecNet 2 devices
  • AMX© and CRESTRON™ compatible
  • Simultaneous LecNet2 and Third-Party control
  • Continuous fan cooling
