The Lectrosonics DMPA12 combines advanced digital audio processing with a multi-channel power amplifier in a compact single-rack-space unit designed to integrate seamlessly with DM Series processors. It is engineered for professional sound reinforcement and teleconferencing applications in boardrooms, courtrooms, houses of worship, distance learning facilities, hotels, and other multi-microphone and loudspeaker installations. Designed with high-speed, efficient DSP architecture, the DMPA12 is particularly well suited for mix-minus sound reinforcement systems. Audio is received directly through the DANI™ (Digital Audio Network Interface) bus, providing straightforward integration with other DM Series components. Each amplifier output can drive a range of loads, including loudspeakers, long cable runs, and headphones. Its BTL (Bridge-Tied Load) configuration also allows two adjacent amplifier channels to be connected in parallel to a common load, effectively doubling the available output power.

The DMPA12 uses efficient Class-D amplification to provide excellent audio performance while minimizing heat generation and power consumption. The amplifier is designed for continuous operation, whether idle or driving a load, making it suitable for permanent installations that require reliable long-term operation. The output stage is also designed to withstand wiring errors without damage. Each output channel includes comprehensive DSP processing with delay, nine filters, compression, and limiting. System configurations can be stored in any of 24 internal presets, allowing complete setup parameters to be recalled quickly through serial commands or simple contact closures.
