The QSC AD-S6 is a 6.5", 2-way, 16Ω, with 105° conical coverage surface mounted loudspeaker system, very well suited for a wide variety of background and foreground sound reinforcement applications.

The AcousticDesign Series is offering the integrators a premium quality installed sound solution where aesthetics, performance and consistent coverage are paramount. Designed specifically for maintaining a consistent tonal
characteristic across the entire family in pendant, ceiling and surface enclosures, the AcousticDesign Series allowing integrators seamless transitions within blended installations.

The QSC AD-S6 featuring a high 6.5-inch weather treated paper cone woofer on a 1.5-inch voice coil. A carefully selected 1-inch silk dome tweeter with a 1-inch voice coil perfectly matches the performance and sensitivity of the woofer for outstanding full range reproduction.

By means of DMT (Directivity Matched Transition™) of even and consistent 105° axisymmetric (conical) coverage is realized. This innovation surely matches the high frequency wavegide to the woofer coverage at the crossover point, resulting in a improved off axis response and coherent transducer transition.

The QSC AD-S6 has a 16 ohm impedance making it ideal for distributed systems, without the need of a transformer, that require optimal sonic performance. All AcousticDesign Series surface-mount loudspeakers are housed in rugged ABS enclosures for long-term durability. Sealed input panel covers and powder coated aluminum grilles add weather resistance, exceeding IEC60529 IP-54 for dust and splash resistance.
