The QSC AcousticDesign™ QSC AD-S6T is a 2-way, 70/100V transformer with 8Ω bypass with 105° conical coverage surface mounted loudspeaker system, very well suited for a wide variety of background and foreground sound reinforcement applications.

The AcousticDesign Series is offering the integrators a premium quality installed sound solution where aesthetics, performance and consistent coverage are paramount. Designed specifically for maintaining a consistent tonal
characteristic across the entire family in pendant, ceiling and surface enclosures, the AcousticDesign Series allowing integrators seamless transitions within blended installations.

The QSC AD-S6T featuring a high quality 6.5" weather treated paper cone woofer on a 1.5” voice coil. A 1” voice coil with a carefully selected 1” silk dome tweeter perfectly matches the performance and sensitivity of the woofer for outstanding full range reproduction.

By means of DMT™ (Directivity Matched Transition) it is consistent and its even 105° axisymmetric (conical) coverage is realized. This innovation matches the high frequency wavegide to the woofer coverage at the crossover point, resulting in a coherent transducer improved and transition off axis response.

To maintain this frequency response, the AD-S6T utilizes a variable tap 60 watt low saturation and low loss 70/100V transformer with 8Ω bypass, accessible via a rotary selector located on the enclosure back under a weather grommet for improved weather resistance.
