The Yamaha XMS Series brings intelligent power management and onboard DSP to installed audio systems, giving integrators greater flexibility without unnecessary complexity. With eight models covering analog and Dante inputs, four- and eight-channel configurations, and multiple output power options, the XMS Series makes it easier to build a system around the application rather than compromise around the amplifier. A key advantage of the XMS Series is its power sharing across groups of four output channels. Instead of treating each channel as an isolated resource, available power is intelligently distributed across each group. Using ProVisionaire Design, the system can automatically configure power allocation based on the selected Yamaha speakers, eliminating manual power calculations and helping ensure that output resources are appropriately assigned to each channel.

The built-in routing functionality adds further flexibility by allowing a single audio source to be distributed across multiple zones within each four-channel group without requiring additional hardware. This makes the XMS Series well suited to installations where flexible zone distribution and efficient system design are essential. Yamaha speaker presets go beyond basic EQ by incorporating optimized limiter settings designed to balance sonic performance with long-term speaker protection. ProVisionaire Design provides comprehensive configuration and detailed parameter control across the XMS lineup, allowing the amplifiers to integrate into a coherent and scalable Commercial Installation Solutions (CIS) system. On-site commissioning is simplified by the full-color front-panel LCD, which displays system status and key parameters without requiring a laptop. When an issue requires attention, the amplifier can display an alert together with a QR code linking directly to corrective guidance, helping installation personnel identify solutions quickly and keep projects moving.
