The preferred host system for individual users is the CEDAR Cambridge Silent 1. As the name implies, it's a genuinely silent solution that is lightweight, portable, and devoid of moving parts. When utilized in this manner, its architecture, which is optimized for single-user settings, can outperform the larger Series IV host. However, you may upgrade it later with features like the Server Pack and XML Integration. There are two choices for audio I/O. When just digital I/O is needed, an internal RME card is used. For analog I/O, an Apogee desktop interface is advised instead. For the greatest versatility, both choices can be placed at the same time.
