The DPA 4062 CORE Miniature Lavalier Microphone is engineered for exceptional audio clarity in high-volume environments. Designed for professional broadcasting, live performances, theater, and presentations, this moisture-resistant microphone features an electret-condenser capsule with extremely low sensitivity, making it ideal for capturing very loud voices, performers, and instruments without unwanted distortion. Powered by DPA’s advanced CORE technology, the 4062 delivers a 16 dB increase in dynamic range and a 16 dB reduction in noise compared with the 4062 Legacy model. Its rugged yet unobtrusive construction makes it a dependable choice for demanding stage productions, houses of worship, sporting events, and professional audio applications where sound quality is essential. With an impressive 154 dB maximum SPL rating, the microphone can handle powerful sound sources such as brass instruments, drums, percussion, and loud vocal performances. It is also suitable for challenging environments such as motorsports, where intense engine noise can overwhelm conventional lavalier microphones. The 4062 CORE includes two interchangeable capsule-protection grids, allowing you to tailor its sound to different microphone placements and recording needs. The High-Boost Grid creates a peak at 12 kHz, making it useful for chest placement, while the Soft-Boost Grid provides a subtle boost between 8 and 20 kHz to enhance vocal presence and clarity. Featuring a modular design with a MicroLock output connector, the microphone supports a wide range of wireless systems through separately available adapters. It operates on 5–10V plug-in power supplied by a compatible wireless transmitter.
