Its miniature size makes it easy to conceal beneath clothing or costumes, allowing professionals to capture clear, intelligible speech without distracting from the on-screen or on-stage experience. Powered by DPA’s advanced CORE technology, the 6061 offers extended dynamic range and extremely low self-noise for outstanding sound quality. Designed for demanding production environments, it combines discreet placement with reliable performance for dialogue, presentations, and live vocal applications. The included capsule protection grid helps protect the microphone element while providing a subtle 4 dB boost between 8 and 20 kHz, enhancing vocal presence and clarity. The protective cap can be removed for cleaning and securely reattached with a firm, tactile click. Featuring a dependable MicroLock connector, the DPA 6061 CORE works with compatible wireless transmitters through separately available adapters. It operates on 5–10V plug-in power supplied by a compatible wireless transmitter.
