LAKE LM 26 Processor 2x6 X-Over/4x4 matrix EU Loudspeaker Processor With Raised Cosine EQ and Simultaneous Cross-Platform Parameter Adjustments for Loudspeaker Management and System Control in High Performance Applications (LM 26)
The LM 26 is a robust standalone digital audio loudspeaker crossover processor offering a versatile two-input/six-output analog configuration. It excels in handling multi-way loudspeaker crossover, delay, and EQ functions, providing comprehensive capabilities for audio signal management. Its array of connectivity options includes 4 × 8 AES3 digital I/O and 4 × 8 Dante networked I/O, facilitating flexible signal routing and Dante break-in/break-out functionality. Furthermore, the LM 26 offers the possibility of stacking and linking two units to create a 4 × 12 processor, effectively expanding its capabilities for larger systems or more complex setups. One of its standout features is the focus on fail-safe operation. The LM 26 accommodates audio inputs via Dante network, AES3 digital, and analog connectors, ensuring compatibility with various input sources. The LAKE Controller simplifies programming by allowing users to configure multiple automatic switching scenarios. For instance, it enables signal distribution over the Dante network, seamlessly failing over from AES3 input to analog, automatically cascading the result to all Dante receivers. Moreover, the LM Series' dual-redundant network topology ensures reliability by enabling seamless switching in case of issues with one Ethernet link. Constant monitoring of both the network and active inputs, detecting active audio signals, valid digital clocks, and network integrity, is a proactive feature of the LM 26. In case of detected problems, the automatic input priority switching guarantees uninterrupted operation, ensuring continuity even in challenging situations. Overall, the LM 26 represents a powerful and versatile tool for managing audio signals, offering not only comprehensive input/output signal flexibility but also robust fail-safe mechanisms. Its capabilities make it an ideal solution for demanding audio environments where reliability and seamless operation are paramount.
