LAKE LM 44 Processor 4x4 matrix/2x6 X-Over EU Audio System Processor With Raised Cosine EQ and Simultaneous Cross-Platform Parameter Adjustments for Loudspeaker Management and System Control in High Performance Applications (LM 44)
The LM 44 is a powerful signal processing and routing unit offering a versatile four-input/four-output analog configuration. Its capabilities extend further with 8 × 8 AES3 digital I/O and 4 × 8 Dante networked I/O, facilitating comprehensive signal routing, Dante break-in/break-out, and failover functionality. Moreover, stacking and linking two LM 44 units enable them to function as an 8 × 8 processor, expanding their capabilities for more complex signal management. Like other models in the LM Series, the LM 44 emphasizes fail-safe operation and flexibility in signal handling. It accepts audio inputs through the Dante network, as well as via connectors for AES3 digital and analog, ensuring compatibility with various input sources. The LAKE Controller simplifies programming by enabling users to configure multiple automatic switching scenarios. For instance, it allows signal distribution over the Dante network, facilitating seamless failover from an AES3 input source to an analog, with the outcome automatically cascading to all Dante receivers. Additionally, the LM Series' dual-redundant network topology ensures uninterrupted operation by enabling seamless switching between Ethernet links in case of issues. An intriguing feature of the LM 44 is its eight input routers, each independently configurable with up to four input fail-over priority settings. This level of flexibility allows for tailored configurations based on specific requirements. Furthermore, the ability to directly patch the output of any input router to analog, AES3, or Dante outputs without utilizing module processing channels adds an extra layer of efficiency and versatility in signal routing. Overall, the LM 44 stands as a robust signal processing and routing solution, offering extensive input/output signal flexibility and fail-safe operation. Its customizable input routing capabilities and the ability to direct outputs without utilizing module processing channels enhance its utility for various signal management applications.
