The Allen & Heath AH-AVANTIS

The Allen & Heath Avantis is one of the best 64-channel digital mixing consoles out there, and its price is relatively low compared to other digital mixers with comparable features. If your church or production is looking for a mid-sized console, the Avantis is an excellent option.

XCVI Core Technology

The Allen & Heath Avantis is a 64 channel/42 configurable bus console, with two full-HD touchscreens. The big advantage of the Avantis is in its XCVI core, developed by the research and development team at Allen & Heath using FPGA technology. The XCVI core is capable of performing 25 billion operations per second, giving this console its exceptional power.

Physical and touchscreen controls are seamlessly integrated using Continuity UI, so the workflow on the Avantis is especially fluid and fast. This console has 96kHz FPGA processing, 64 Input Channels, 24 Faders, 12 RackExtra FX slots, and 12 analogue XLR Inputs and Outputs – and those are only a few of the many features that make the Avantis such an excellent choice for a digital mixing console. Not only that, but the Avantis features a sturdy but lightweight all-metal chassis, protecting it from bumps and other minor accidents.

A Great Choice for Churches

The low price and extensive list of features make the Avantis an especially good choice for church use, and it’s also relatively easy for a church volunteer to use with minimal training or experience. If you happen to have an expert on hand, they’ll appreciate everything they can do with this impressive console, but if your volunteers are not quite so experienced, they should still be able to use the Avantis effectively.
