CEDAR DNS 8D 8-Channel Dialogue Noise Suppressor with Dante®
Studio dialogue can be free of background noise thanks to CEDAR's Dialogue Noise Suppression technology, which is industry standard. It removes background noise from audio signals, including wind, rain, babbling, air conditioning, and traffic noise, with almost no latency, high-resolution processing, and a quick, easy-to-use user interface. It will also lessen excessive reverberation and aid in making up for unfavorable acoustic conditions and improper microphone positioning.
The CEDAR DNS 8D was created especially for live audio and broadcast. It features eight noise suppression channels and a novel algorithm that combines the best aspects of signal processing and machine learning, the foundations of which are used in the DNS 8 Live and DNS 2 conversation noise suppressors. It provides more control than any prior dialogue noise suppressor because of its sleek user interface, which can be accessed from the front panel and practically any web browser that can run its internal remote control software. Standard and detailed modes of operation are included. It can be used for broadcasting and live sound in theaters, music halls, conference centers, and houses of worship because of its near-zero latency, standard 4-pin 12VDC input, and universal mains supply.
With nearly zero delay and flawless synchronization, Dante® is the de-facto standard for media networking. It distributes uncompressed, multi-channel digital music across conventional Ethernet networks. The DNS 8D is the first DNS to provide both AES3 audio connectors and a Dante interface. It can be installed confidently in critical paths anywhere in the audio chain because it supports Dante's redundant mode of operation, which helps to protect against network failure, and it has a fail-safe AES3 audio bypass implemented in the form of hardware relays that immediately connect the inputs to the outputs in the event of a power outage or other significant disruption.
8D/AES breakout cable
For the DNS 8D, we provide an optional premium AES3 breakout cable with a DB25 connector on one end and four XLR connectors (four female and four male) on the other. This enables users to attach the DNS 8D to devices that are compatible with the conventional XLR format.
