CEDAR DNS 2 2-Channel Dialogue Noise Suppressor

With the use of dialogue noise suppression (DNS) technology, audio signals are free of background noise, wind, rain, air conditioning noise, traffic noise, chatter, and other distractions. It will also lessen excessive reverberation and aid in making up for unfavorable acoustic conditions and improper microphone positioning. The first DNS created especially for portability and utmost user-friendliness is the 2-channel DNS 2. It hosts a new DNS algorithm that just needs to be turned on, with the Learn function taking care of identifying and adjusting to the background noise and setting the necessary level of noise attenuation. It is appropriate for use in all scenarios, including location recording, live-to-air broadcasting, live sound in locations including theaters, concert halls, conference centers, and houses of worship, as well as studio work and postproduction. It maintains the almost low latency of all its predecessors. Additionally, the DNS 2 has both analog and digital outputs, an AES3/AES11 digital input, analog line, and microphone inputs (the latter with optional 48V phantom powering), and is compact and light enough to fit into your pocket or equipment bag. This adds even more versatility to it, and with its 12V power input, you may use it in the studio or edit suite or out in the middle of a field with equal ease.
